📸 Between tradition and innovation

On the tarmac of the Chartres air show, the Max Holste MH-1521 Broussard prepares for an unusual flight. Around him, technicians are busy, while above his fuselage rises a small, unusual aircraft: the Colomban MC-15 Cri-Cri, registration F-PZTU.
This astonishing association forms the heart of the number "La Navette Bretonne", an original creation by the group Yankee Delta, based in Soisy-sur-Seine. Specializing in aerial displays combining heritage and innovation, the team offers a rare spectacle here: the mid-air drop of an electric aircraft from a propeller-driven carrier.

The contrast is striking. Below, the Broussard—robust, noisy, a legacy of post-war aviation. Above, the Cri-Cri—tiny, light, almost silent, a symbol of French experimentation and technological research.
When the duo takes to the air, the audience's attention is fixed. The sky, laden with dark clouds, reinforces the dramatic tension: between past and future, aeronautics is writing a poetic and audacious page here.
