As I turned around, leaving the view of Cancale for a moment, another face of the coastline revealed itself to me. In the direction of Saint-Benoît-des-Ondes, the bay stretches as far as the eye can see, revealing the singular beauty of low tides. The sand, still damp, is covered with silvery reflections, blending the shadows of distant clouds with the brightness of the clear sky.

Here, the sea seems to have receded to better reveal the depth of the landscape. The lines of the shoreline stand out with striking clarity, as if traced in clear ink on an immense parchment. The silence is broken only by the discreet murmur of the wind and the brief cries of seabirds, free guardians of this immensity.

This simple turn of the foot reminds me that every moment at the ocean's edge is twofold: forward and backward, the Emerald Coast unfolds changing horizons, never identical. The journey is not only in the walking, but in the ability to be surprised at every turn of the gaze.
