Amid the discreet bustle of the vegetable garden, it went almost unnoticed. A small hoverfly, delicate and light, hovered before landing precisely in the luminous heart of a zucchini flower.

You might think it wasp, but it's a fly in disguise—a peaceful, harmless, and precious acrobat. It doesn't sting, it doesn't disturb: it visits, forages, and transports noiselessly. Its presence is a sign of good health, diversity, and balance. Between flights, it contributes in its own way to the fertilization of my vegetables, while also ensuring the natural control of certain pests elsewhere.

Small, discreet, but indispensable. That day, in the golden morning light, it embodied the promise of the vegetable garden.
