As soon as we set foot on the island, the call of the sea is felt once again. Without wasting a minute, we board a water shuttle that cuts through the crystal-clear waters towards Frontone Beach, one of the most accessible and renowned in Ponza.

Nestled in a small, steep cove, Frontone Beach owes its name to an imposing, almost sculptural white rock face that overlooks the cove like a natural pediment. The contrast is striking: on one side, this dazzling limestone wall; on the other, a turquoise sea with emerald reflections, clear as glass.

The shore is composed of light pebbles and coarse sand, gently warmed by the sun. A few meters away, colorful umbrellas and a small beach bar play summer music that accompanies laughter and diving. Everything invites relaxation and contemplation.

Accessible only by boat or on foot via a steep path, Frontone is both popular and unspoiled. It offers a perfect prelude to a more intimate exploration of Ponza, already giving a glimpse of the island's wild and luminous beauty.
