Always at low tide, the beach of Saint-Benoît-des-Ondes reveals a new, almost infinite perspective. The gaze stretches along the shore, following the coastline that leads to Cancale, whose contours can be seen in the distance. In the clear light of this early summer, every detail seems chiseled: the clear line of the sand, the metallic sheen of the pools left by the sea, the blue horizon melting into the sky.

A little further out to sea, the Rimains Islands emerge discreetly, like sentinels posted a few cables from the Pointe de la Chaîne. These fragments of land, surrounded by the waves, seem to silently watch over the bay, motionless witnesses to the tides that, twice a day, sculpt and reshape the landscape.

Faced with this panorama, one feels both tiny and privileged. Tiny before the immensity, before the patient work of the sea and the wind; privileged to be a spectator of such harmony between sky, earth and ocean. This is the strength of the Emerald Coast: offering the traveler a feeling of eternity in the present moment.
