From the sacred heights of the Temple of Jupiter Anxur (Tempio di Giove Anxur), our gaze drifts this time towards the eastern coast of Terracina.

Below and in the background, we can see the port, its quays, and its boats rocked by the Tyrrhenian Sea. Just nearby stretches the Levante Beach (Spiaggia di Levante), affectionately known to locals as the "little beach" (la spiaggetta) – a strip of golden sand popular in the balmy morning hours or in the heart of summer evenings.

In the foreground, just before Mount Jupiter, Pisco Montano, an iconic rocky peak, stands proudly at the end of the coast, like a natural rampart sculpted by time. This steep, historically rich relief seems to mark the symbolic southern entrance to the city from the sea.

A panorama rich in contrasts, where nature, history, and everyday life come together in striking harmony.
